skills Training and vocational education to every teen that enters
our home. We feel that teaching specialty skills to troubled teens
helps boost moral and self-worth. We provide the tools and the-know-how,
and the kids provide the ambition. We incorporate skills to benefit
and interest both male and female alike and do not discriminate.
Training includes but is not limited to the following: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Teenagers and even preteens are very vulnerable to distress. Their lives are filled with peer pressure and high anxiety just like most adults, but with the added stress of personal discovery, sexual identity, academic performance and appearance. Parents give it their best to assist their children with these issues, but are not always successful because of the close proximity of the relationship. Big Sky offers a way to help parents address the issues with teen problems, we also mentor troubled teens with other disorders such as ADHD, ADD, failing grades, anger, rebellion and harmful drug addictions Youths turn to drugs and alcohol because of failure of break a destructive cycle, experimental or to bury emotional pain. By helping your teen to achieve an inner peace with themselves and God, Big Sky reaches its goal of instilling positive attitudes and self-worth. |
